Terms of Service

By accepting the services of Bea’s Cleans, the customer is bound by the following Terms and Conditions.  Please take some time to review this agreement, as the use of our cleaning services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Agreement.

Introduction:

These terms and conditions govern all cleaning services provided by Bea’s Cleans (the "Cleaner"). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Cancellation policy:

Once you have confirmed an appointment with Bea’s Cleans, the time will be reserved exclusively for you. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling based on availability.

Cleaning services:

  • The Service will be for such cleaning duties as agreed between you and Bea’s Cleans at the time of booking.

  • The agreed-upon service time commences on the cleaner’s arrival. Our cancellation policy will be applicable if access cannot be granted within 15 minutes of their arrival.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, all cleaning equipment (such as mop and vacuum) must be provided by the client.

  • Bea’s Cleans has a 2-hour minimum service time. For services requiring travel over an hour, the minimum time will be increased to 3 hours.

  • If there are any safety concerns, Bea’s Cleans reserves the right to terminate the service at its discretion.

  • Photos or videos may be taken of the cleaning process for social media or quality control purposes. If you do not wish to have your home featured, please notify us in advance.

Parking:

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure parking is available for the duration of the service. If no free parking is available, the client will cover any paid parking costs. Please advise of this in advance so that the cost can be included in the pricing.

Client responsibilities:

  • Ensure access to the property is available and unobstructed for our cleaning team.

  • Provide access to necessary utilities (water, electricity, rubbish bins).

  • Inform us of any hazards, risks, or dangers on the premises before the service starts.

  • Secure all pets or animals during our visit. Bea’s Cleans assumes no responsibility for animals.

  • Inform us of any immovable or delicate items in the cleaning area. While we will attempt to follow client instructions, Bea’s Cleans is not responsible for damage resulting from moving or attempting to move such items.

  • The home will not be 100% perfect after the first visit to your property. It often takes up to 6 visits to get it up to the “Bea’s Cleans” standard.

  • Inability to Access Property: If our cleaning team cannot access the property at the scheduled cleaning time, we reserve the right to charge a full fee for the scheduled service. You are responsible for ensuring that Bea’s Cleans staff can access the property, including providing keys or access codes as necessary. If you need to reschedule your cleaning appointment due to property access issues, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

Payment terms:

  • The Customer agrees to pay at the completion of service.

  • Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash, with the balance to be paid by the completion of service.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when booking for a Spring Clean, End of Lease or Move Out Clean. Please note your booking will only be confirmed after the deposit is made and pre-approval is submitted.

  • The Customer agrees to the quote provided for ongoing weekly and fortnightly bookings. If the service is cancelled within the first month, the Customer will be invoiced for the difference at our once-off rates.

  • Price Increases: Clients are given advance notice of any price increases.  Bea’s Cleans reserves the right to raise prices at any time.

  • Late payment fees may be chargeable for overdue invoices up to the discretion of Bea’s Cleans. Recovery Fees can also be chargeable.

Changes to Scopes of Works:

  • Any changes to the agreed-upon services must be communicated to Bea’s Cleans prior to the service. Any additional requests outside the original scope will be subject to a new agreement and pricing.

Accidents, Breakage, Damage & Theft

  • Clients are responsible for providing appropriate cleaning products for delicate surfaces (e.g., stone, tiles, floors). If no products are provided, Bea’s Cleans will use standard cleaning products.

  • Any damage or breakages must be reported within 12 hours of service completion. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.

  • In the case of a complaint, Bea’s Cleans must be notified within 12 hours after completion of the cleaning work.

  • Bea’s Cleans is not liable for damage to fragile items unless explicitly notified by the client beforehand.

Promotions

  • Promotional offers via text or email are available to new clients only. Ongoing recurring bookings already benefit from a reduced rate compared to one-off cleaning services.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
